Owen Oyoung, 36, is the visionary Chairman and CEO of SMTPack LAB Automation. Fifteen years ago, he took over the company from his father, Alexander Oyoung, transforming it from a small family workshop into a trusted partner of multinational electronics manufacturers. Known for his integrity and relentless work ethic, Owen inherited Alexander’s spirit of perseverance and commitment to excellence.

Starting his career straight out of university, Owen worked his way up from a junior installer to designer, programmer, and eventually became his father’s business partner. Upon Alexander’s retirement, Owen was elected Chairman by the board, recognized for his leadership, creativity, and technical expertise. Today, he leads SMTPack LAB with a bold vision, driving innovation in SMT automation and setting new standards for precision, efficiency, and global collaboration.
